Send MxD an abstract to share your work, contribute to critical conversations, and help shape the future of U.S. manufacturing. Your expertise could become a presentation at an MxD event, spark a collaborative project, or drive solutions that strengthen our industrial base.
MxD is seeking sessions to support this year’s Summit theme, Ready Now: Manufacturing at Mission Speed. Held October 20–22 in Chicago, the MxD Summit brings together leaders across government, industry, manufacturing, and tech to accelerate deployment of mature digital manufacturing solutions.
Sessions will focus on execution, impact, and mission-first outcomes. Abstracts should align to one of these themes: deployment and scale, funding and business models, workforce and capacity, technology readiness, policy and partnerships, or mission-first manufacturing. Strong submissions address a current industrial-base challenge, explain a deployment-focused solution, include measurable outcomes, and give attendees clear takeaways.

MxD evaluates submissions on a rolling basis and makes decisions based on relevance, impact, and alignment with MxD initiatives.
If your abstract is a fit, we’ll reach out to discuss next steps - whether that’s speaking at an event, joining a collaborative project, or contributing in other ways.
Have an idea for collaborative research, cross-industry problem-solving, or innovative initiatives? We’re open to proposals that advance digital manufacturing, strengthen cybersecurity practices, develop workforce capabilities, or address emerging challenges in the industrial base.
Are you tackling modernization challenges within the OIB? Share solutions, case studies, or innovative approaches that strengthen U.S. defense manufacturing infrastructure. We’re looking for practical insights on digital adoption, process improvements, supply chain resilience, and cybersecurity in OIB facilities. Submissions are for collaborative engagement opportunities and do not include project funding.
Do you have insights to share with the manufacturing community? Submit topics for presentations, panel discussions, workshops, or demonstration at MxD convenings. From emerging technologies to lessons learned on the factory floor, we want to amplify voices that can help others navigate digital transformation.
