As the mobility sector grows and evolves, manufacturers in Michigan continue to be challenged by workforce shortages. The “Strategies to Build a Robust EV Manufacturing Ecosystem” toolkit provides manufacturers with actionable steps to address workforce skills shortages related to the growth of the EV sector in the state. Created with the input of manufacturers, academia, and community-based organizations, the toolkit provides resources to build strong talent pipelines in Michigan.
MxD developed this toolkit in partnership with Mechanism and the University of Michigan Economic Growth Institute as part of the Michigan Defense Resiliency Consortium (MDRC), which is working to create valuable energy storage and battery manufacturing solutions to advance American manufacturing and support national security.
