About the Event

GCSI is returning this year after bringing together executives, thought leaders, and experts from Chicago's F500 companies and governments at our past conferences.

This time they are bringing together more than 200 high-level cybersecurity leaders, senior executives, C-level executives, CISOs, compliance specialists, and security officers for sessions focused on Cyber Security, Strategy, and Risk & Budgeting.

The conference begins with a Keynote speech and a panel discussion showcasing innovative solutions to the problems facing highly regulated industries.

Organized in October 2016, GCSI was founded to address the SEC and FINRA’s annual ongoing areas of security concerns for their member firms. Since then they've brought together hundreds of CxOs and other senior leaders from marquee companies like IBM, Morningstar, Blue Cross BlueShield, Gartner, Verizon, HSBC, Bank of America, Tempus, Wealthfront, VSEC, CNA Insurance, University of Chicago Medicine, Northern Trust, Paylocity, CISO Spotlight, onShore Security, Old Second National Bank, AT&T, and Kirkland & Ellis in addition to federal, local, and academic leaders from the FBI, State of Illinois, Cook County, Illinois Institute of Technology, ISSA Chicago, IEEE-USA, and the Cyber Security Response Team at the University of Tulsa.

On April 26, 2022, they are hosting their annual 2022 GSCI Conference from 8:30 a.m. CST to 5 p.m. CST at IIT Chicago - Kent College of Law (565 West Adams Street, Chicago, Illinois 60661-3691).  The Global Cyber Security Initiative (GCSI), annual cyber security summit, co-hosted with Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and Pan Asian American Business Council (PAABC).

Every year they bring together for this prestigious community recognized event nearly 200 leaders representing Senior Executives, CxOs and CISOs, Senior Security Officers and other senior cybersecurity professionals from a broad range of industries and business sectors. In addition, they have more than 20 prominent speakers scheduled together with the April 2022 conference at IIT downtown campus at Chicago - Kent College of Law.

GCSI will kick-off the afternoon with a high-energy Keynote followed by a senior-leader panel discussion focused on Cybersecurity Strategic, Risk & Budgeting during post-pandemic times addressing current issues including labor shortages and supply chain challenges for highly regulated industries like Healthcare, Insurance and Finance.
