CHICAGO – Today, MxD and Amatrol, a leading provider of interactive manufacturing workforce training, announced a new partnership to expand access to MxD’s industry-tested virtual trainings to learners nationwide.
As part of this partnership, three MxD courses – Data Annotation, Manufacturing Data Analytics, and Premetaverse Integration Technology – will be offered through Amatrol’s Learning Management System. That means Amatrol’s network of partners and clients, which includes high schools, colleges, universities, and workforce programs in all 50 states, will gain access to MxD training content that was created with direct input from manufacturers.
“Amatrol is a leader in manufacturing workforce development, and MxD is thrilled to have our courses available on their platform,” said Liz Stuck, MxD Vice President for Government & Strategic Affairs. “This partnership is a meaningful step toward deploying industry-backed content to a wider audience. Joining forces with Amatrol adds credibility to our courses, and enables MxD to get our courses in front of many more learners.”
Amatrol is one of the manufacturing industry’s most respected workforce development partners, known for hands-on, interactive training used by schools and employers alike. Amatrol’s interactive educational expertise has been a critical resource for high schools, post-secondary institutions, universities, and workforce partners.
The three courses are backed by Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA) credentials. Learners who complete courses can go on to take the SACA assessment and earn a Silver Credential, a recognized marker of skill for employers hiring in advanced manufacturing. The three courses are part of the MxD Virtual Training Center platform, which offers thousands of on-demand courses.
“Manufacturers are asking for workers who can handle data, analytics, and connected systems, and our partners need training that reflects those needs. Bringing MxD’s courses onto the Amatrol LMS gives high schools, colleges, workforce programs and industrial training programs across the country a direct path to content that manufacturers helped build,” said Jason Everett, Amatrol’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales.
