Our Team

Marysia Serafin is a project engineer for MxD, joining in October 2022. Prior to joining MxD, Marysia worked in new product development as a mechanical engineer at Life Fitness, in Franklin Park. She earned her mechanical engineering degree from the University of Virginia, where she also worked as a Makerspace Technologist at the UVA Scholar’s Lab. Her previous experience has been focused on designing creative solutions to technical problems, working on engineering projects, and implementing cost-saving procedures. She enjoys coffee, farmers markets, and hanging out with her dog, Tank.
