About AT&T Business’ Involvement
AT&T Business runs AT&T 5G and its Multi-access Edge compute technology on MxD’s factory floor. U.S. manufacturers are able to come and test industrial applications and see first-hand the fast processing and lower latency of AT&T 5G.

MxD’s 22,000-square-foot research factory is used to test and demonstrate new technology; train the workforce on these new systems and tools; and demonstrate the need for cybersecurity in manufacturing.
AT&T is installing 5G millimeter wave technology on our Factory Floor and testing manufacturing-related 5G use cases.
