About the Event

The Department of Defense (DoD) Manufacturing Technology Program (ManTech) Education and Workforce Development (EWD) team invites you to participate in its inaugural convening in Arlington, Virginia.

The Manufacturing Momentum Summit offers a unique opportunity to create, unite, and strengthen existing but siloed national networks in manufacturing workforce development by exploring new learning, tools, and resources. The Summit includes communities, organizations, institutions, and initiatives focused on closing the manufacturing skills gap and preparing for the new economy. By working together, defense manufacturers and communities can define pathways, leverage resources, tap into new information and build a responsive ecosystem to deliver the next-generation workforce.

As a convening attendee, you will:
• Access federal decision-makers and influencers.
• Learn about critical workforce and education issues in defense manufacturing.
• Leave with real-world tools and solutions to implement.
• Meet and network with communities facing similar challenges.
• Hear from speakers representing DoD, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Education, Department of Energy and more.

Attendees from a spectrum of defense manufacturing initiatives will be present for networking and discussion, including the national network of Manufacturing Innovation Institutes (MII), American Manufacturing Communities Collaborative (AMCC), Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program (DMCSP) communities, and Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) organizations.
