Our Team

Bill Hurley is the Chief Building Engineer for MxD. He is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the HVAC and MEP systems at the MxD facility. He manages security, custodians, construction projects, contractors and tradesmen. Prior to joining MxD in May 2015, Bill was previously the Chief Engineer for the Mars/Wrigley Global Services Facilities on Goose Island and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Building. He has been a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 399 for over 35 years and is also a board member of the North Branch Works since 2018. Bill attended DePaul University, and in his spare time, he enjoys biking and Brother Rice Football.
